Why Let Loose Exists
We’re more connected than ever. But are we really connecting?
Technology has made it easier than ever to communicate, yet many of the everyday spaces that once naturally brought us together are disappearing.
We spend more time online, behind screens and moving between busy lives with fewer opportunities to slow down, have meaningful conversations and genuinely get to know the people around us.
And that matters.
Human connection plays an important role in our sense of belonging, wellbeing and how we relate to the people around us.
We believe people need more spaces where they can put down their guard, move beyond small talk and simply be themselves around other people.
Let Loose exists to create those spaces.
Connection shouldn’t feel forced.
Walking into a room of people you don’t know can feel uncomfortable. Opening up to colleagues can feel unnatural. And sometimes, even when we're surrounded by people, we don't know how to move beyond surface-level conversation.
That’s why we don't simply put people in a room and expect connection to happen.
Our experiences are intentionally designed and facilitated to make connecting feel easier.
Through meaningful conversation, playful shared activities and thoughtful facilitation, we create the conditions for people to relax, participate and gradually let go of their inhibitions.
There’s no pressure to network. No expectation to impress anyone. No need to perform.
Come as you are.
Because when people feel comfortable enough to be themselves, real connection has room to happen.
Our Story
Born from a personal passion to bring people together.
Let Loose began almost by accident in Leah’s apartment in the summer of 2024.
Tired of surface-level socialising, Leah brought together friends from different parts of her life with one intention: to create a space where people could switch off from distractions, have meaningful conversations and genuinely get to know one another.
Something clicked.
Through meaningful conversations and intentionally designed activities, people who had arrived as strangers began opening up, laughing and connecting. They left wanting to do it again.
That evening became the beginning of Let Loose.
Since then, we’ve hosted more than 30 events, partnered with 10+ organisations and continued experimenting with how intentionally designed experiences can bring people closer together.
Today, Let Loose creates our own community experiences while also working with workplaces, brands and communities to design and facilitate experiences that strengthen connection between the people who matter to them.
Meet the Founder
I’ve always been someone who brings people together.
Before founding Let Loose, I spent nine years working within a global organisation, creating and delivering programmes, events and engagement initiatives that brought employees, leaders and customers together.
But my interest in human connection goes beyond my professional experience.
I started Let Loose because I saw how different people became when they were given the right environment to connect. People opened up. Strangers encouraged one another. Friendships formed. Ideas were exchanged. People left feeling more confident and more themselves.
That made me curious about a bigger question:
What if we could create more environments where meaningful connection wasn't left to chance?
That question continues to shape Let Loose today.
I now design and facilitate experiences that help people move beyond surface-level interaction and connect in ways that feel natural, enjoyable and genuinely human.
